(Back) to school

Today is the first school day after the summer holiday. For Inge it was her first school day ever and she was very excited and looking forward to it. Nienke was a bit scared to go to a new class with a new teacher and lots of new children.

Before we got to school we took Ellis to nursery. Inge used to go there too but now she kept on saying to everyone who would listen: "No, I'm not going here today, I have to go to school!"

Inge immediately started playing in her classroom; I guess she was ready for this. Nienke was somewhat uneasy at first but she's sitting next to one of her best friends and after only a couple of minutes she was doing just fine.

It was a rainy morning; don't the girls look cute in their raincoats? You can also see the huge bandaid on Inge's forehead; the result of her fall yesterday.
