Blip the festivals

By sheer good luck I had a ticket for a show today that seems to be one of "the" shows this year. And It didn't disappoint. And whilst wating in the queue to go in I saw a poster that reminded me this bloke was on. So a wee while later I was watching him. Brilliant.

It's probably about 20ish years since I joined a few of his late night/early morning tours of the Royal Mile. On one occasion the police threatened to arrest the whole crowd (around 100 folk).

The later on back into town, top scran and a stroll around Princes Street Gardens, Book festival and the Assembly Rooms.


If you're not in Edinburgh, you may wonder why I'd tag this as "blipthefestivals". But it sort of sums up the last few days for me, drinking and snacking on the hoof (although at least today's food was on a plate and there was cutlery)
