Getting Ready

Andy's off to the local primary this morning to get registered for starting school next year. Or in his words, he's going to be "put on the calendar". I have no idea why he thinks he's going to be put on a calendar, but it clearly means something to him.

He's definitely ready for school - in fact, he'd happily start today if they'd let him. Actually, maybe he thinks he is starting today. That would explain why he insisted on wearing his brother's school uniform this morning.

I remember when he had his first ever haircut, and he seemed to get older in an instant. This morning, as he stood there dressed like a schoolboy, was another of those moments.
