The secret feather
It is very sunny but very windy today. The butterflies and bees are enjoying the inulas very much and I captured a few images I was quite happy with. I was using my 100mm fixed focal length macro lens and was pleased to see how it functioned despite the need for high shutter speeds.
In a shady corner I saw something moving in a leaf. I could not make out what sort of insect it was, so I took just one shot on the off chance, and this is it. I think it must be from a bluetit. The tiny feather is so perfect - quite breathtaking.
