Ten Months Old - Saturday Smiles

10 months old!!! (43 + 3)

Katie has reached the 10month stage with some style....
she:
-frequently walks 5 steps unaided, although won't do it in public!
-stands for long periods until she remembers that she's doing it
-puts the rings on her stacking rings
-reduces a room full of organised toy boxes to a pile of toys in seconds
-has one tooth
-says mummum, grandad, that, this, duck, caitlin, quackquack (cakcak)
-loves soft toys and balloons, swimming and bathtime
-spends so much time looking at books; her current favourite is 'peekaboo, I love you'
-has started to put stuff into things not just take everything out - mummy found a (clean) yogurt pot in her sock drawer two days ago
-has suddenly come into her own with the eating, swallowing much more of her finger food. New foods include pesto pasta, raisins, cherries, asparagus. New foods definitely don't include chocolate or ice cream. Definitely not.
-weighs 18lb 4oz (see the above point!) and is a size 3F in her second pair of cruisers
-still adores mummy snuggles and mummy milk better than any other. Like i'd complain at that!!

I am hugely proud of how much my little girl has achieved this month, every day is something new and a whole different adventure. Every day I feel a little more pride in and love for the wonderful little person. Love you Katie xxxxxx


This photo was first thing this morning, Katie is often in a really lovely mood when she gets up, she has a big crawl and climb around, lots of toddling. Today was no exception. She even managed to keep herself going until we went out with her cousin to the play cafe at the nursery. She was flagging until the second we got in their car. Then she was squealing with delight and carried on right until they dropped us home again!
