Cathedral Staircase

Park and Ride to eat lunch in the cloisters at Norwich Cathedral. And to run about the labyrinth.

On a walk through the cathedral the children spotted folk lighting a candle and saying a prayer. I explained that some people like to do this.

I suspected Alfie's motivations were more pyromaniac in nature, but I let them go ahead. Alfie prayed for 'less bad stuff on the news and floods and things' (I had to explain first that it's not really the done thing to pray for stuff we want to have....).
Evie kept her prayer to herself (I admit I felt slightly suspicious that she prayed for a DS..but I also think I'm probably wrong to doubt her. It just might have been the sort of thing I did).
