Downtown

Downtown...when I was a kid, if we were heading into Downtown, my mom would make us lock the doors. We didn't go down there very often. I can't even remember what would have took us down there, cause I knew it made my mom nervous.

Downtown revitalized in years past and I love downtown. I like to walk around with my camera, the looming shadow producing sky scraping buildings, the hustle bustle of cabs and people. The old and new buildings mingle like a family reunion.

I met a watchmaker who was selling some of his spare parts and broken watches. I intend to incorporate them in some jewelry. He threw in some old trading beads and findings. I am excited to get started. I sorted threw them last night. So relaxing...I just need a spark of creativity and a burst of energy and I am good to go!!!!

This is a backblip....I have a company picnic today...maybe I can get a few good pix!!!
