Took a ride out on the bike to suss out some more shots for my flat lands stuff. Ended up on top of the old coal bing between Skinflats and Carronshore. I can remember this as proper looking hill when I was a kid (probably up to the mid to late seventies to honest). It was then dug up to use as material for the motorway network that was being enlarged at the time. It does however give a place for some elevation (about 15 to 20 metres) in taking some more shots.
These are wheat fields leading up towards the power station, the petrochemical industry is still apparent on the horizon.
