Table Mountain from Victoria and Alfred Waterfront

M and I had been dropped off at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront with the intention to go to Robben Island. Unfortunately we couldn't go as it was all booked up so we have booked to go on Thursday instead.

M hasn't been to Robben Island and in fact at her own admission has until now resisted and avoided going. M is South African and was born in Eshowe, she has returned many many times since coming over to live in England nearly 49 years ago and since the passing of her husband and father to the lovely R, G she has started to make yearly visits... and who can blame her.

As we couldn't go to Robben Island we did a bit of well what girls do best when they are together... SHOPPING!

We went back to Hout Bay on the tourist city bus which was fantastic.

After 2 fairly mediocre days weather wise its now absolutely fab!
