A Piece of Cake

Growing spuds...you would think so? Our approach at home is to find some soil, any soil and stick in a sprouting spud. Few months later, et voila, potatoes.

The farmer has other ideas as have been chronicled here and here

The saga continues :) These spuds sell locally for around 49p a kilo. Tonight Mr Farmer was out spraying once again. Himself informs me this last spray is to kill growth so that the spuds can now be harvested.

It all seems a bit much for a wee spud :-)
