Tagetes

I like to take pictures of all kinds of flowers but at the moment we don't have so many flowers left in our garden except some Tagetes for instance. That's why Tagetes will be today's Blip. I like this colour more than the yellow ones.

The name Tagetes appears in several different countries as in Sweden, England, Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Portugal but not in Holland. In dutch it's called Afrikaantje, it means African, and that's strange because Tagetes is growing in an area stretching from the southwestern of United States into Mexico and south throughout South America and not in Africa!
