Nimble, any one?
On Monday evening we went off to a folk club but decided when we got there that it was more of an 'old-folks' club so came back to wander around Perth for a while.
One of the firemen we saw on the Sunday had recommended that we come and see thew bridges at night so we headed to the veiwpoint on Tay Street.
Wow. What a view. A mirror like reflection of the bridge against a turquoise evening sky. It looked unreal. And of course we didn't have our camera with us.
So tonight, and I'm getting there about the balloon, we decided to go for a meal at Cafe Tabou - well, if you're in Scotland you have to go to a very French restaurant, drink a smooth Merlot and listen to Frank Sinatra in the background, which we did, and it was one of the best meals we've had for a long time - taking the camera ready to capture the bridge on the way back.
Just as we got to the restauarant we spied this balloon rising over the rooftops, I told you I was getting there. It was there and then gone in just a few seconds but worth the snap and mental snatch of 'she flies like a bird in the sky-i-i-i'.
As it was this was the best picture of the day as the low tide of the river meant that the reflection of the bridge was not quite a beautiful as we'd seen on Monday.
