Elephant Ear

It seems like someone at Blipfoto forgot to put a shilling/quarter in the electricity meter. Everything now seems to be back to normal.

I would have posted a little earlier but normal service resumed just as my wife and I were about to watch the second series of The Sopranos on DVD, so that delayed my posting for another hour.

I came across a fine collection of elephant ears at the side of a house on James Street and got in close for today's shot. The irony is I could have saved myself the walk. We have elephant ears at the far end of our garden. But it was the way the light was catching this particular leaf that caught my eye.
