Albert Park

Had a lovely stroll round Albert Park which is in the center of Middlesbrough.It was the idea of the then Mayor and MP Henry Bolckow.It was dubbed the "People's park".This gave the hard working ship builders and steel foundry workers a place to relax and gave them "green time".It was opened in 1868.The fountain was added in 1955 and still looks good today.
