Hanging it up!

Usually I take a walk in the afternoon or evening, but today it was just too hot ~ 107ºF/42ºC. So I stayed in, did stuff, took a nap and, towards the end of the day, suddenly realized I'd frittered away my time by staring at the computer. Okay, I thought, it's probably cool enough to take a walk by now. So I got my things together, stepped outside and ~ the light was gone!

I was so upset. At first I thought I'd have to miss a Blip, but I kept on looking and looking. When I saw my shirt hung out to dry it hit me ~ That's it! I'll just hang up my quest for a perfect shot and make do with what's really there in my life!

And the rest of the evening turned out fine....
