Chinese Fisherman

This is a very unique thing that I was fortunate to capture.

In China you get fisherman that catch fish using these birds. They are trained when young and a rope is tied to their neck so not to swallow big fish...having no place to place the fish, it jumps on to the boat and drops the fish into the boat where the fisherman then puts it in a net.

After a good haul the fisherman will the make a whistling sounds which means the birds can now feed on smaller fish that they can swallow. then its back to their home where they are places in their shelter.
