Paris and Helen of Troy

There is a tiny island, at the end of a causeway, near the lovely port of Gythion, that was where Paris and Helen of Troy consummated their romance, after she had been "abducted" from her husband Menelaus. This, of course, led to the Trojan wars etc.......

There is a beautiful little church there too, as well as a marvellous little museum dedicated to the Mani, the piratical people of the area.

And a guard goose, but that is another story !!!!!
