this is by far the most annoying little girl in the kids' english class dane and i started teaching out in chiquilistagua. she is such a suck-up and is always begging for privileges she knows she can't have. but then today she sang the spanish/english song we are teaching the class in an operatic voice with dramatic arm motions, and for just a minute, i embraced all of her annoying ticks and incessant questions and cracked up.
