MY 100TH BLIP

I can't believe I made it to my 100th blip. I had a lot of ideas for making it a special blip, but nothing came to fruition. The main reason was because I woke up this morning with back pain and sciatica pain. It steadily got worse as the day went on, so I went to see the chiropractor who worked on me for an hour and told me to stay home from work tomorrow and ice my back and sit on a heating pad. What a strange combination, but I am doing it.
This kind of scares me because I had this same kind of pain starting in 1991 that lasted for 4 years. I had shots, pills, cremes, chiropractor treatments, massage, and physical therapy and finally the doctor did and MRI and I went to a specialist in Eugene who had me in surgery the next day for a L-5 laminectomy. I had a herniated disc that was pressing against the spine. The surgery really helped, but I am left with residual nerve damage in my leg and foot. I do pretty well, though.

Anyway, I took Ibuprofen and my husband drove me out to get a few photos tonight because I had to get something for me 100th blip. It is not what I had in mind, but I guess it is OK. It looks like the sun has just gone down but I is really the sun reflected in the east. I thought is was pretty cool how it did that.

I have really enjoyed taking my first 100 photos, and I have learned a lot and enjoyed sharing with my fellow blippers. I plan to continue adding photos, but probably not every day like I have been. I have many things coming up that will take time. My daughter is having a baby in December and my husband and I have started a new business. It will be hard not to try to get that photo each day, but I know I will not always have time.
