Runner Beans

My very best friend has been here from Germany since 9th August and this evening is the last night before she flies home again. We've had a lovely time even though some of it was a bit hard, sorting our her elderly God Mother in Scotland as best we could. She picked these beans from the garden and we had them for supper with some lamb fillet and delicious red wine and we are watching The Proposal now. Then hot chocolate :-) I think we will go into Birmingham tomorrow to mosey around before the flight.
