Pretty in Pink . . .

This Streptocarpus flowers every year like this and yet I don't do anything special with it - it is just a happy plant! It spends the winter in the greenhouse with the rest and late summer I bring in into the house and it produces masses of arching stems covered in flowers which last for weeks. Can't remember who I got a cutting off initially, but thank you if you are reading this!

Hectic day at work today and am now on call for dental emergencies from 5pm to 8am for a week. Means I have to stay off the drink for a week and keep my mobile charged up, in credit and with me. Both these are tricky . . . !

Spent this evening with diaries, calendars, various bits of paper and my filofax (yes, I'm a pen and paper rather than electronic organiser type of person!) trying to amalgamate all the appointments, meetings, to dos and important dates and get them all written in one place! Thanks goodness Ollie's social calendar is pretty sparse, it's bad enough with just the two of us!
