Thamel at Night

I forgot my camera's memory card at home today, so.. last minute picture of the area outside my hotel.

Thamel is a very colorful but very touristy area of Kathmandu. The streets are filled with signs and shops.

I spent the day at the maternity hospital.. lots of stuff to do. It can be really depressing sometimes to work at a hospital that doesn't even have soap in the bathrooms, but I try to stay positive and remember that my efforts here will hopefully help save a lot of lives.

Also, I really miss home.
