Keys

Life is full of keys.
We have key moments. Those moments that define us, and separate us from who we once were, and who we are to become.
At the age of 21 we are said to have the "key of the door". Once you unlock that door and step (however unwillingly) over it's threshold there is no going back. Childhood is behind you, adulthood lies before you.
Key decisions have consequences. Simple turnings, a left or right, have separate outcomes, it's how you deal with them is makes you who you are. I can offer only one piece of advice, have no regrets.
This set of keys is more than a simple clever piece of metal work, it is the beginning of something new. New experiences that shape me.
This evening I step over another threshold of something new, both metaphorical, and literal ... I wonder what awaits?
