Tom's Cove

an unusual play of light amongst the grass and waves in Tom's Cove on the south end of Assateague Island.

I found a kayak washed ashore along the far point of the island.

When I towed it several miles back to the landing area I found the owners who lost it several days before when the wind picked up and they had became distracted by some fishing activity. Weren't they lucky.
