Questionning the brain cells

It was one of those days when I was very busy yet I knew I had forgotten something and it niggled at me all day. It wasn't until opened the blip home page that it dawned on me that today was the day this chap was in town. I hadn't been sure I'd be able to get away to meet up, but as it turned out I had a three hour window but just didn't realise it was open. Tsk.

Later on it was the annual tournie quiz night which traditionally shows up a lack of savvy, knowledge, or in fact any grey matter whatsoever but as it turned out the wee team of four we cobbled together did well and came second. If only the others had listened to me when I said the Tay was Scotland's longest river, that karate wasn't going to be in the 2012 Olympics and hadn't listened to me when I said that Wizzard had had a Christmas number one we would've been the victors.
