Floodlit Flower

I struggled to become inspired in taking today's shot. I have looked around all day to see something that's a little different.

As the evening wore on and the darkness began to fall, this flower caught my eye, growing in front of the spotlight on our house. I waited for the light to fall enough to get a balance of detail in the flower against a black background, lit only by the floodlight.

The iPhone's camera has added the red effect with the white centre being 500 watts of light!
