corncrake field
For the last six months I've been doing some voluntary work for the RSPB, we've been making some fields corncrake friendly, ie planting nettles where the corncrakes like to hide. These are some of the nettles that we planted in the spring, they've grown alot since then, hopefully next summer a corncrake family will make their home here.
Spent a good part of the day pulling out ragwort which is poisonous to cattle.
