That Rankin man

Despite having become, in many people's eyes, Edinburgh's Literary Paparazzo I have never taken a photograph of Ian Rankin.

My Rankin cherry has been popped.

I spent a while taking lovely shallow DoF shots in the bookshops, and then Alastair Darling completely failed to do anything as dramatic as I had anticipated. Other than the comedy of "ohh, bloody banks," while surrounded by huge RBS banners, it went by without any glitches.

Well, there's time for drama yet!
