Camping: Day 5

Well there was a birthday in the house and even though we were camping, we still had a PINATA! Oooo the kids were thrilled. We had three different cakes, ice cream, and the most authentic mexican meal that I have had in years. Homemade mole over chicken, fajitas, fresh spicy salsas, tamales......everyone ate at least two servings of each because it was too good not to. Way way way too good. I know I am sounding crazy about the food but these meals are always a highlight. They are special. Take time to prepare. And therefore should be celebrated.

A truly memorable day for me! And yes, the sunset looked EXACTLY like this. This is the view from our campsite. Right next to our tent.....
