I feel infinite.

Spontaneity

At first I wanted today to be productive but I really couldn't get myself to work. In the afternoon, I went outside in the harsh afternoon light to take some pictures. Surprisingly, it went very well. I always hear how the light in the afternoon is too bright and there are too many shadows. But I think with the right angle and settings, it turns out to work! This is a self portrait of me...very rare haha. Despite some chapped lips (my bad), this turned out a lot better than I imagined.

Then randomly these going-to-be-sophomore girls I know called me and wanted me to take their pictures. I'm pretty busy the rest of this week so I asked if they wanted me to shoot right at that time. They agreed and I traveled to a nearby park to take each of their pictures. Those turned out quite well too!

The big thing planned for today was a huge blip trip during the golden hour at Cranbrook. By huge I mean four photographers, me, Alice, Tiff, and Cat. Unfortunately, right when we got to the entrance of Cranbook, Tiff called telling us that someone ran into Cat's car on their way there. To keep a long story short, we had to split up, I had to pick Tiff up with our model Greg, take Tiff back to be a witness for the policeman, and then go back to Cranbrook again to continue shooting. Good thing they're both safe and sound, which is the most important thing.

Still crazy how so many things can pop up spontaneously! I didn't get many shots at Cranbrook because by the time we got back, golden hour was pretty much over and the lighting was rather uncooperative for me.
