Chrysalis

Yesterday I discovered that the caterpillar I had found on Friday had turned into a chrysalis. The trouble is, I had put him in a jar while I researched what he might be, and he has morphed in the jar, so I wasn't able to get a decent picture of him. I'm very excited to think he might emerge as a butterfly (possibly a swallowtail) in a couple of weeks.

I've repeated part of yesterday's narrative to describe today's blip. You can see part of the jar in the photo. I couldn't get the enire chrysalis in focus from the angle necessitated by the jar, but I needed to record this anyway. I hope you find him interesting.
