Kitchen Radio

It's probably time to say goodbye to my trusty old Murphy B40 radio..... It's maybe not your standard kitchen radio but I love the look of it sitting there in the corner with its chunky dials and huge switches.

Originally built in the early 1950's this radio was commonly used on Naval ships of that era. This one still works nicely with its original valve line-up and covers the entire range from 640kHz through to 30.5MHz over 5 bands.
