The Newbies...

...at school!! First day - no jitters or nerves. Kids these days are far too confident. Wee C was super-excited to be going to school today, even if it was just for a short while! We took her into the class and settled her in, all in the space of about five minutes before we got kicked out to make way for the next class-load of excited kids and parents... :-) So lovely to see all the kids smartly dressed in full school uniform though.

This is wee C and best pal wee R outside the school gates at chucking-out time. They had both enjoyed their first day despite not being in the same class, and are looking forward to playtime tomorrow when they'll get to play with each other in the playground.

After we picked up the girls, we went out for a lovely lunch with wee R's family as a first-day-at-school treat, and then the girls begged and pleaded for wee C to be allowed to go to wee R's house to play afterwards (of course we said yes). So wee C has had a busy busy day. She'd better get used to it - just wait until the homework starts! (None on the first day!).
