Pining for the Fjords

Best day of the holiday so far weatherwise and good thing too as this was the biggest travelling day by far.

Caught the train from Oslo to Myrdal and then took the train down to Flåm. We then caught the Express boat to travel down Sognefjord to Balestrand. About 8 hours travelling in total but its was totally worth it!! The landscapes were amazing.

Blip was taken from the prow of the express boat heading down the Sognefjord at speed - windy to say the least!! Not a day to be forgotten too soon....
