Hopless
Poor wee frogs.
At work these chaps had managed to make their way into the building over the summer. Unfortunately, nobody was around to see this and when we all returned to work last week they were found scattered around the floor in this almost mummified state.
Having collected all of them (possibly all of them, there may be others still to appear) there's already some imaginative suggestions of how they can be artistically preserved for ever, from boiling them up to make soup remove the skin and muscle and preserve their skeletons to vacuum-forming them to create some gruesome artwork.
We've received a batch of new digital cameras at work and I had these crispy amphibians handed to me as I was wandering about trying one out. Highlight of a rather stressful day it was as we all had some not-so-pleasant rumours confirmed that can only have come from someone slightly more mad than this box of frogs.
Ribbit.
