The Chairs

These are the two chairs I collected from my father's cousin yesterday. They came from my great grandparents house in Bangor. There are others owned throughout the family. I have two others in Wales. I have always known them as the Hall Chairs but they are also referred to as the Welsh chairs. The backs are all different. I wonder if there was some sort of tradition involved . They are very simply made.
