The time has come.. end of a family era.. the yellow chairs that Dad built for our place at Moeraki are now up on Trademe.. .

Crikey, the interior of our A Frame used to look super modern.. Big matching choc brown sofa (that we still have) with 4 canary yellow arm chairs.. kelly green coffee table.. macrame plant holder hanging in the window.. you're getting hte visuals... it gets better...
the Dining table was matching kelly green formica, with 6 chairs , chrome legs - of course-, bugger all padding for the bum, but it was the cover.. white piping, which really enhanced the kelly green floral print - which was on Vinyl of course!
The end wallsof the room were papered in a fetching orange toned print of fishing boats...

Wow.. it just all looked SO modern compared to home.. haha.. ahh the 70's...

It's weird selling these off, sort of, but also a relief.. too big for th house.. done their time, and as the husbandy said.."I'm sure your dad wouldn't want you keeping chairs with haddit covers.."
Ya ca sell the chairs, but ya can't sell memories.. they stay with you.... the macrame plant holder though... nasty
