Lemonade Stand

A and E were adorable in their dedication to today's lemonade stand project. They made signs, sliced and juiced lemons, and set up shop, running back into the house each time they thought of an addition: more ice, change, a little garbage can . . . It was 98 degrees out today but even still, they lasted longer than I expected, nearly an hour in the shade of our evergreen. E would even wave at every car that passed by, and point excitedly to the pitcher and the sign. They only got one customer besides Ben and me, but nonetheless, two pitchers of frosty cold, fresh-squeezed lemonade were consumed, and they each ended up with a dollar in quarters to call their own.
