Epiphyllum

This is slightly past its best, I was going to blip it yesterday, but Ollie won in a close tie! It flowers every year, and has about a dozen flowers in total, but each flower only lasts for a day or so.

I cooked a family lunch for everyone today, roast chicken followed by raspberry trifle - last time I see Dad and my mother before they head south again. We had a nice time, sat in the sun, had a little walk and the men poured over marine charts and talked boats and sailing.

Bit scary when parents get to the age when you wonder when they leave if you'll see them again. Still, they had a good holiday - thanks to Non-Accidental - and will take home some nice memories.
