Happy Birthday Granny

Busy day today! We went to friends' wedding vow renewal this morning. It was a lovely service, but Katie was very tired! She was falling asleep in teh last two songs, bless her.

We drove over to my parents and all went out with my aunt and uncle for sunday lunch for my mum (Granny)'s birthday. Katie was as good as gold, despite the waitress taking katie's lunch to be warmed and not actually bringing it back for ages (mummy had a reserve lunch in the bag that got eaten instead!)

After lunch, we went to the 'Arts and Soul' summer picnic day, it was fabulous!! Good music, good company, very chilled out. The blip today is Katie having just climbed a fairly steep hill! Her granny and grandad are actually also in the photo, on the balcony in the background!

We had a lovely time, she enjoyed climbing over her grandad and granny whilst her uncle fantastic and I had a good game of walking stick rounders/cricket/golf. It's amazing what fun can be had with a walking stick and a balled up shopping bag.

Despite having had a three course dinner for lunch, come tea time everyone was hungry and happily consumed takeaway pizza and cakes... especially Katie.
