Up close and personal
Noticed this bee inside a nasturtium flower this afternoon. It was lying on its side and vibrating its abdomen (white, furry part). Apparently some bees do this to release pollen from flowers. I was trying to get an in-focus close up, but because it was trying to release the pollen, it just wouldn't stay still.
Today was fabulously sunny - hardly a cloud in the sky so worthy of noting in my Blip journal. Summer is still here.
