Secret Shooting Lodge

Matthew, Iain and I walked from Carlton to the Rooza Crags this afternoon. I did this walk when I was five years old. It must have taken a long time back then because there is a lot of climbing to do. Today we just went straight up the steepest route. We discovered this hidden shorting lodge on the other side of the crags, not visible from Coverdale. Nobody was there but there were signs of recent activity. It was quite spooky.

We had planned to go to the Forresters for dinner but they were closed for refurbishment. We ended up having a curry in Leyburn. One of the best curries I've ever had.
