Trumpet Vine
I took a load of shots this morning with my 50mm on back to front; none of them wowed me, and my plan was to go out later blip hunting. But, just as the rain can spoil plans in some necks of the woods, here the sun ruins it for me. Wandering around with the heat index soaring towards 110f, and then getting caught in a thunderstorm is no way to spend the afternoon, particularly when the Red Sox are playing. Thunderstorms themselves can be very exciting, but with Florida being the lightening strike capital of the USA, it is difficult to gt into a position to do them justice, photographically, while remaining safe. So this trumpet vine flower, blown highlights and all will be my offering of the day. Enjoy what is left of it folks!
