everything's really surreal today, still blurry from the news this weekend. i'm going home friday to do something i never thought i'd have to do, something i'll never understand why. something i'll never forgive.

i feel raw, exposed, a bundle of aching nerves.
i feel like just by looking at me, you should be able to tell what has happened. but the world goes on, happily oblivious, as i muddle my way through the haze.
