Dance yourself dizzy

I spent pretty much the whole day at the Edinburgh Festival. I don't think I've ever seen the city so busy - must have been something to do with the sun blazing down all day. I saw four or five acts, some good, some appalling. I'd like to name and shame one comedian in particular, but he doesn't deserve publicity of any kind. This photo was taken at the entrance to the Pleasance courtyard, one of the busiest venues. The combination of ancient stone archway and disco-ball madness seemed a perfect example of the festival craziness.
