The reading heap

Having gone to bed feeling completely exhausted last night I woke up this morning merely feeling tired, which was an improvement I suppose. My back was aching though, so didn't go across to Dunfermline as planned to see the Pars' mighty victory. No allotment-eering either; just did a little light dusting and blip-commenting for me.

Our visitors having departed we'll be back in our own bed tonight (we've been sleeping on the sofa bed for logistical reasons - very comfy it is too). Once I'd changed the bedclothes I thought I'd treat myself to a little lie down. Mmm. At the same time I reacquainted myself with the pile of books that I intend to read/finish reading. I can rarely read more than a page before dozing off these days, so this lot will take a while. The top one, The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists, I picked up in Gateshead via bookcrossing. When I've finished it I'll release it "into the wild" somewhere!
