Don't Succumb...
Mrs TFP has started her night shifts which means she works through the night on Friday and Saturday nights. With her being away all night, I'm still trying to adjust to her not being there and not having a frame of reference for getting to sleep. Part of it is just the not her being there but I also just end up trying to squeeze even more out of the day or night and putting off the getting to sleep.
Lack of sleep solution?
Don't stop! Luckily I've had loads to keep me busy all day.
We started off getting organised to head off to Gullane Beach for a wee Blipmeet and sand and water related activities along with Stewart, JustSitting and family SooB. This is the fruit of my labour for most of the afternoon. I think it lasted about 10 minutes before the master demolition experts came in.
Next up we had to motor Mrs TFP home so she can get her pre-shift sleep so we cleaned the car and packed it up with the old furniture that was recycling bound. Decided to donate the old coffee table to the local skatepark as a manual pad so we stopped off there for a wee skate and general mess about on the ramps. Get the shopping and head back to get dinner on, fold the washing, hang out the next load, dinner, baths and we're down to calm down cartoons before bed.
Didn't really have time to succumb to the sleep.
Big thanks to Stewart for rallying the troops for the beach. It was brill.
