A break from it all

I travelled home yesterday, my first attempt at solo driving all the way - Edinburgh to Darlington. I made far too big a deal of it, turns out it was a piece of cake, hope the journey backs as smooth.

Today, a nice family day out. A drive out to Goathland, filmset of Heartbeat. We had lunch in the Aidensfield Arms! Then rode the steamtrain to Grosmont.

Lovely to be enjoying the country air, regardless of a bit of rain.
