Quite rare these days so made the most of it

Visited aged parent in Portsmouth but made a trip of it by visiting Blip sites on the way.

Fascinated by the House Boats in Shoreham. Loads of picture taken I must have looked interested as I was invited onto one and shown around by a charming lady. She had two main places to sit; on inside and one out. Inside if the weather demanded it, or she was interested in the bird life and outside for the air and conversation with passing strangers, like me. Looks like a great way to live, the views changing with the tide, if a bit cold and damp.

Went on to take pictures in Goodwood, it rained so just carried on; Chichester, ditto plus expensive car park, Dell Quay, free parking no room so carried on and Thorney Island, where I ended up at a military check point, no Blips again. Final found a quiet corner of Chichester Harbour with seagulls and swans and bobbing boats and canoeists and a couple of elderly ladies swimming. It rained but I liked it, Tranquil would be the word
