Good Evening, I am Alfred Hitchcock

A few weeks ago G told me about the imminent release onto dvd of a film called Double Take. It sounded interesting, and once it was available he ordered it. A few days later it arrived from amazon, and tonight we decided to watch it.

I didn't know until the end that today is Hitchcock's birthday. So, we inadvertently watched it on his birthday, and that feels a little spooky somehow. We might just as easily have watched the film tomorrow instead.
